| Free Beer Band 2008 by mark | At this time, the Free Beer Band does not have any shows scheduled for 2008. Just like all the big superstar acts, there are some independent side projects being worked on by some of the band members, but the Free Beer Band hopes to be rocking again soon in 2008.

Halloween will probably be our last public show, as our lead guitarist, Russ has joined a new band. Simply, Russ wants to do 6 shows a month, not 6 a year!! While we hope to get together for some jam sessions, his new full-time band has priority and it will make it difficult for the Free Beer Band to commit to a schedule going forward... We wish Russ all the success in the world!
So come see us at our Halloween Beef & Beer social on October 26th in Oaklyn NJ!!! Its probably your last chance to see the Free Beer Band (at least, as you know it)... check out the band and Russ' amazing guitar playing one final time! (scroll down for info)

by mark: 09/05/2007 | Jim, the world renowned drummer for the Free Beer Band, held his annual Jimboree Birthday party in August. The weather was great, and so was the turn out. But no belly dancer this year. Or gals wearing Free Beer Band thongs... .Wasn't really any cool tatto pics like we had last year, either.
Now that I think about it, the party really sucked.

by mark: 09/05/2007 | The March Fundraiser, held by Aubrey Schreyer (The Free Beer Band's #1 fan) was a smashing success. The Free Beer Band knocked out the crowd with its classic rock songs. Lots of action out on the dance floor.
